August 2016 Workshop

We enjoyed a day of sewing together this past Saturday.  Jan B.  introduced the club to alzheimers fidgit quilts.  We spent time building those foundations and spent some time working on our own projects too.


Here is Jean S  and  Jan B.  working  hard  this month toward our new mission.

Here is  Val with Alice, who popped in for some fellowship with her quilting friends.  Kathy B. is busy working on a fidgit quilt.

Lesa S.  is working on a piece for a charity auction.

And here's our Margaret, running from the ironing board.  She brings a sunshine personality to keep us inspired.  She also worked on fidgit quilts and her own project.  She pieced tops and I quilted them together and I couldn't keep up with her.

All in all, we had a great day.  I think Jan was pleased that we were inspired to contribute to this mission.
